MEC-70 (Automatic)

Nimble, accurate, and very versatile: this is one of our most balanced machines. It allows to perform a range of high-precision jobs that include straight and conical grooves in through or knockout holes. Its powerful 2 hp servo motors together with a lower guiding bar allow our MEC-70 Automatic to cut a 40mm groove in a medium-size steel without prior roughing. Cutting capacity from 3 to 100 mm (pieces up to approx. 600 mm diameter). A lower guiding bar provides extra stiffness for demanding jobs. Automatic tool separation system at each cycle to avoid friction on the upstroke; this allows a perfect finish and longer tool life. PLC with a touch screen to control cutting speeds and shifting of the workbench – Manual indexing table integrated in the table with a vernier caliper providing a range of degrees and of 16 positions and divisions. ideal for working with different materials and hardnesses. ADVANTAGES 1 / The automatic control can regulate the movement of the main motor and the workbench shifting. Consequently, the servo motor provides an automatic system that brings the cutting edge towards the initial working point and adjusts the path and the separation between the tool and the workpiece. 2 / It has a workbench with enough space to be able to work with parts up to approximately 600 mm diameter. It works with an automatic separation system between the tool and the workpiece to prevent rubbing and, therefore, provide a meticulous finish and expand the machine’s lifespan.
