Accessories / Special Features :
· This machine was completely overhauled in 1998 and modernised with a SIEMENS S7-300 PLC control system. All motors were renewed and the workpiece drive as well as the grinding head infeed were equipped with servomotor drives. The entire electrical system and the important hydraulic elements were also renewed. A modern operating panel with push buttons and interface was fitted.
· Automatic grinding cycles for longitudinal and plunge grinding. All grinding parameters are entered digitally on the SIEMENS OP 77A input panel; an electronic handwheel is integrated for the infeed axis.
· MPM microprocessor grinding wheel balancing device AB300SM3.C with balancing head mounted on the flange and operating module BM240M attached to the control panel (retrofitted in 2019)
· Infinitely variable speeds of the workpiee drive with digital display
· Dressing device mounted on the tailstock
· 3 pieces open steadies
